Getting there
Planes
There are hundreds of flights every day from across the UK and beyond to Dublin, which is only 45 minutes from the venue. We would recommend booking early to secure the best deal. Belfast is also a good option and is approximately 90 minutes from the venue.
For Londoners, Aer Lingus and British Airways fly predominantly from Heathrow, with some flights from Gatwick and London City too. Ryanair mainly operates from Stansted, but also from Luton and Gatwick.
Boats
Planning to make the most of your trip across the Irish sea? Car ferries from Holyhead and Liverpool are also worth investigating.
Once in Ireland
Rural Ireland is just that. Rural. It means you will need a car or transport from the airport.
Car hire
Dublin Airport has all the main car hire providers - SIXT, Enterprise, Budget, Avis etc - offering cars from approximately £50 a day.
Taxi
A good option, especially if you can share with others attending. We’ll provide suggested companies closer to the date.
‘Wedding special’ airport transfer (mini bus)
Depending on interest, we may look to organise a ‘wedding special’ airport transfer for those staying in Dublin, near the airport, or flying in on the morning of the wedding. Please indicate your interest in your RSVP and we’ll look into whether this is possible.
